Amy Zaring is the Director for the Transition Learning Support Program at Woodward Academy. Ms. Zaring has worked for thirty years with students and programs that support students who come into classrooms with diverse and creative learning profiles.  Prior to coming to Woodward, Ms. Zaring was  a classroom teacher, a System-level specialized educational consultant, and professional trainer.  Ms. Zaring led an initiative to develop a County-wide social skills framework, designed the teacher training program, and wrote the coordinating social skills goals and objectives for instruction.  Ms. Zaring has provided professional development for staff and administrators in school systems and conferences across the State and for the State BOE in the areas of ADHD, learning differences, cognitive and processing deficits, social skills, behavior and stress management, and High Functioning Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome.
