Lisa Shepard is a National Board Certified French teacher who was selected as Ohio’s World Language Teacher of the Year in 2016.  She is the author of the blog, Madame’s Musings, and her work has also been published in the AATF National Bulletin and the University of Oregon’s email digest, InterCom. She is a co-moderator of the French Teachers in the U.S. Facebook page as well as #langbook, an online book discussion for language teachers via Twitter. After 29 years in the classroom, Lisa is now providing professional development on standards-based world language instruction and assessment.
